A couple of months ago I found this ridiculously cute spin on a classic dress at Express. It was a bit pricey so like a good shopper I waited and waited for it to go on sale. Last week it finally dipped a little (still not $30 like I would like bot a heck of a lot more reasonable then the original price) so I went and tried it on.  Turns out I looked like a slut.

That same day, I happened to see the classic version in the window at New York & Co. Their starting price was much more reasonable, and knowing them I waiting some more because they put things on sale pretty fast.  I was right again because later that week-their entire store was 50% off.

This made the dress only $30! But that’s not all! I went shopping at Ross, found the Calvin Klein version (that started this whole search in the first place) and on my way to try on the (very expensive for Ross) dress, I found a dress that looked EXACTLY like it for only $25! You can’t. beat. that.

It pays to wait and do your research!
