Taking the No Out of Snow

This weeks nail color came out of a deep desire to have winter. Remember that season that used to come around this time of year?

I’m still clinging to the notion that before spring rears it’s annoyingly beautiful head we’ll get some actual, pile the clothes on because your skin will crack it’s so cold outside, kind of winter. Where snow feels comfortable enough to not only come, but stick around for a visit.

It’s that kind of winter, I’ve missed. Whatever it is we’ve had the past couple months has been like most SNL skits past 12:15- a major disappointment.

So to satiate my cold weather craving I reached for one of my favorite OPI blues, “Ski Teal We Drop”. It’s a great deep dark almost navy blue that is blue enough to be quirky but not so loud that you couldn’t wear it in a professional setting.

It’s probably one of my favorite colors (what would a nail post be without that sentence, right?!) And won out over my two new spring colors that I purchased last week.

It’s little things like wearing nail polish with “ski” in the title that makes the winter lover in me turn my pajamas inside out just one more night in hopes for some snow!
