Put a Sweater on Your Pet, Peeves, and Calm Down

In an effort to bring you more than just spiffy ways to make yourself look good, I just googled “where did the phrase ‘pet peeves’ come from.” In reading the answer that first popped up, however, I found one of my pet peeves-people who don’t like dogs in clothes.

If you would just put down your hatred, people, you’d see how adorable it is. They’re probably the same kind of person that would wear sunglasses inside-why do you need to shield your eyes from florescent lighting!!??

Moving on…high on my list of pet peeves when it comes to getting dressed, is pants that don’t touch the floor.

If I’m wearing shoes-any kind, heels, flats-and the pants I’ve paired with them don’t touch the ground, it’s time for an outfit remix, because they’re no way in God’s green earth that I’m walking out the door.

Hence, my little rule when it comes to pants shopping (and my deep, unending love for skinny jeans) do not mix pant options with shoe height options. Or better put-buy pants specifically to wear with flats, and other pants to wear specifically with heels. And never the two should mix.

This will get you out of any shoe height/short pant conundrums and will eliminate the need to constantly be tugging on your trousers in public.

A comfortable well shoe-d/panted girl is a confident one. Remember that!
