On a recent rush to the grocery store that was locking down low prices from 4pm to midnight (which by the way they also advertised would be in “3-D” but there way nothing in “3-D” anywhere-why?! And why does it have to be so urgently screamed at me from my television?!) I learned a valuable lesson.

1. I am easily coerced in to doing things that are yelled at me from my television.

2. When something is on sale, you buy-a lot.

Everyone has a different personality when it comes to purchases, some people are spenders and others are savers. Then there’s a third group (of which I proudly helm) the weird spenders and savers. I will spend like crazy on some things, and save like a depression born mouse in others.

I certainly don’t think to buy more than one of something when it’s on sale, but it’s such a great idea. Why wouldn’t you want to stock up on something that you’ll use when it’s deeply discounted. You’re going to buy another one at some point anyway right?

Well, I’m sure you know where I’m going with this by now…the same is true with beauty products, clothes, and shoes. If it’s on sale, buy more than one! That is if it’s something like face wipes, which you’ll use, or cami’s or long sleeve shirts, which you’ll wear out. If it’s something you’re going to buy another of eventually why not get it at a discount?!

I may be preaching to the choir on this one, but I know me in my sporadically stingy self needs to hear it every once in a while.
