Monday Hair

Monday hair is leftover Sunday hair.

Which means it’s a product of whatever you did to it for church Sunday morning. Sometimes that’s good (it’s amazing how sometimes Monday hair will be better than any other day!) and sometimes it looks as excited as you do to get out of bed.

Which is why God made people and inspired them to make headbands! Thank Him for that, I know I do.

The trick to wearing a headband is working the width so that it does in your hair what you need it to do. If you’re looking for more volume go with a wider width headband (either the whole headbands or half way will work). This will push the hair back to the right spot and get it to look alive. Go with one that’s got a splash a color on it and Wha-La! You’ve got Saturday night hair on a Monday morning!

If your hair’s actually gotten bigger overnight, or you need to tame it down but you don’t want to do a pony, go for a skinnier headband (the kind that goes all the way around). By going skinny it will tame it just right and not have you looking like you had a wild Sunday night.

Another way to for more volume would be to get those skinny half head bands stick it more in the middle of your head than the front and push back to make it look like you teased it a little bit. Get one in your hair color and it won’t even be noticeable that you’re trying to enhance :)

A hint for an upcoming post: I’m currently test driving a new foundation, and I’ll tell you all about my findings at the end of the week!
