Manic-Curist

Remember electronic nail files?
We had one that had different heads that you could switch out. The only problem with those things were they manicured your nails a little too fast. As in…I’m turning it on…Oh! Now I have no nail.

Thankfully, for me at least, those are a thing of the past. As are the opposite end of the spectrum-the $0.99 nail files that hold their consistency for about 2 minutes.

I grew so tired of having to start with a fresh nail file every time I did my nails-that’s one nail file a week!
Plus whenever I would go to buy them, the store I was at never had the brand I last feel in love with, and not to mention the fact that I could somehow never throw them away-bringing my beauty drawer ratio to nail files: 57/ actual things I use: 2

I have now shed this problem (along with all those useless nail files) for something much, MUCH better.

At an arts festival this past spring, I came across Step Hi Sales who sell Crystal Glass Nail Files. I instantly fell in love. That very day I had experienced the frustration of crappy nail files, so upon entering the festival and seeing their booth it was like a sale sign in a crowded department store…so beautiful.

Their files are made of crystal so they never wear down, and always give you the roughness you need to get the job done. They’ve got 3 sizes: small for $8; medium for $10; and large for $12, and while that sounds like a lot at first-they will never wear down so it’s literally the last nail file you will ever buy.

I’ve used mine every week since I bought it and it’s still as good as new, and I only bought a small.

You better believe they’re going on my Christmas list this year because I want one in every purse!
