Sometimes I think the Today Show has my blog bugged.

For the second time I found them giving a tip on their show that I had already written about, so just know the spiff is hot and, most assuredly, fresh.

Remember jeans week when I talked about not shopping hungry? Yeah they paid some guy in a suit to come in and tell them the same thing. He pointed out that you’re more likely to impulse buy when you do that, which I agree with.

Some more tips he gave about shopping were to not fantasy shop. When you are a size 12 and you go shopping and find a pair of pants or something that’s a size 9 don’t buy them thinking you’ll fit in them next month, go with what size you are now.

Don’t occasion shop too far in advance, he also advised. Which makes sense, because you could buy a dress for Easter in November and find when Easter rolls around that you’ve changed your hair or need something warmer.

Another don’t was don’t shop in packs. He said that if you go with a group of girlfriends you’ll end up buying something you will regret. Take one girlfriend-someone you know will give you good advice.

So there you have it. He stole my spiff so I stole some of his.
