A beautiful site, you’re happy tonight, looking through the glimmer ’round your eyes.

I’ve got 5 or 6 shades of glimmery eye shadow that I can’t wait to dust all over my lids this season, and I’m excited because this is the month when sparkles are everywhere!

My resolution? Create the perfect smokey eye glimmer look without using any grays or blacks. That’s a tall order for me-I love me some black.

But if you consider taupes and pinks and browns for around your eyes instead of your usual colors for parties, your face will radiate that candle-lit look. As seen here with Elizabeth Olsen (a picture I nabbed from Google images)…

Stick with those warm colors (darker near your eye, lighter as you move away) and your peepers will be glowing. Dust some shimmer on the tops of your cheek bones (not too much! you don’t want to look like you’re playing a fairy). Pair it with a nude lip and you’ll be dreaming by the fire with face unafraid!
