We’ve all heard of DIY (and thought who has time for that?!), now there’s a new acronym in town and it’s winning all kinds of popularity contests.

DYO-Design Your Own is such the trend right now (which, as you faithful readers know, is not what drives the spiff, it’s when we like it and it happens to be in style that’s the formula).

The great thing about DYO being so sheik is that it gives us plenty of options (like so many websites) to choose from, making it easier and easier to DYO anything!

This week, we’ll be featuring all the DYO websites that we think are worth it (actually it’s more like Bobbie Thomas thinks their worth it, and we like her to so we like them too).

Starting with jewelry! Sheyna.com is a great website where you can go and design your own adornments.  The price range is anywhere from $4-$5,000 (lord knows anything I design will be more on the $5000 side).

What I love most about the site is that as you design you know exactly how much you’re spending because a little total appears above the design box. This totally eliminates falling in love with an expensive creation and having to shave things off of it once you get to check out.

There are so many options to choose from, and since it’s jewelry for more of a daytime look (light and elegant) then you’re sure to wear it often!
