The Eyebrowologist

It’s one of life’s little “jokes”, I think, that the hair never grows in the places you need it, but in other, say more precarious places, it grows faster than the line at a wedding dress clearance sale.

The eyebrows, for example, would be a good place for hair to grow quickly but in most cases it doesn’t.

In fact, I saw an eyebrow expert on tv once, (wonder what their “official” title is? Eyebrowologist, perhaps?) and she was commenting on the progress her client had made to get to the perfect brows, over a period of YEARS.

Gah! Can you imagine paying someone like that to get your face more symmetrical over a period of YEARS!
Pass the eyebrow pencil, right!

If you are playing the waiting game, God speed, AND here’s a little tip-watch the moisturizer.

This same professional said that moisturizer near your brows actually causes the hair to grow more slowly so you want to avoid that area as best you can when you slather it on.

It’s ridiculously hard. I tried for a week, and I couldn’t do it. I like to lather it on, my friends. But if you have the mental fortitude to pull it off, more power to you.

Now, if only the same was true for the upper lip region we’d be cookin :)
