YES!, sure, and YES
This time of year is so exciting! Sure I love getting that little10% break, but it also means fall is close and school supplies are so cheap I can buy a whole bunch and take a bath in them if I wanted to (my love for them goes that deep).
If you’re going to join me in braving the crowds this weekend and don’t want to get stuck in one of those moments when you’re unsure of whether to buy an item or not here are 5 questions I ask myself when trying to makeup my mind. They are a sure-fire way to narrow down if you want an item or not, and will get you in and out of stores quicker than you ever imagined (it will probably save you money/buyers remorse in the end as well!)
1. Can you make at least three outfits with it?
2. Does it translate into another season (could you wear it alone for summer and maybe layer it for fall/winter)?
3. Does it already go with the things in your closet or are you going to have to buy something else in order to integrate it into your wardrobe?
4. Is it something you want people to see and associate with you? (In other words does it represent your style well)?
5. Can you think of a place/event that you can wear it to?
Remember these questions (take a picture of them and save them in your phone if you have to) and if the answer is yes to at least three of them, then I say go for it!
