Spiff Splash!

It’s that time again…time for a hodge-podge of iridescent goodness!

All this week has been about discovering your own style. Knowing what image you want to put out to the world will not only help you look sharper, but it will also reduce your indecisiveness when it comes to shopping.

Think of this next tip as the card you pull out next time the logical, penny-pincher side of you starts to kick in…

Deeply consider items that make you go, “Oo!” I know this sounds crazy to some, but for those of you who are like me and see something you really like right off and then talk yourself out of later-it’s a good rule to follow.
If your gut reaction to something is that you really, really like it, then why not go with it and get it!? If you have to set a price range before hand to keep your credit card from overexertion then do it, but after that has been set no more talking yourself out of items that you love.

Another good idea: (this is going to totally counter act the diatribe I went on the other day about dressing rooms, but forget that and listen to this…) Use the dressing room as your testing ground. If you’ve been wanting to break into layering but don’t think you have the pieces in your closet to do it, grab somethings off the shelf and try it out in the dressing room. A little planning before hand, and you can go wearing clothes you want to match things with.

A little experimentation never hurts.

That’s it for this week, have a spiff-tacular weekend, and come back next week for ways to find the perfect jeans!
