Spiff Sense Part Deux

Clothes can be your best friend or your worst enemy when it comes to showcasing your figure. It’s all about where you put things, in fact it all goes back to balance. If you are trying to hide a certain aspect of your figure then the key is to draw the eye away from that part of your body.

If you are heavier up top don’t bulk up with blousy tops, rather opt for jackets and long necklaces–they help to elongate your body. Another option is wide leg pants, which help to balance out your figure.

If you are fuller on the bottom work towards emphasizing your waist with A line skirts and belts that cinch you in. Also, go for darker wash jeans and shirts with empire silhouettes so as to draw the eye upwards.

A couple more tips: If you like to wear Capri’s make sure they don’t hit the middle of your calf, and if you want to make your legs look longer, go for longer pants that hit well past the top of your high heels.
