Click Tuck

By now if you haven’t realized that all magazine photos are photoshopped, you need to walk outside the cave and adjust your anntena.

I recently read a celebrities account of what a photoshoot is like, and you wouldn’t believe what they have to fake even before the photo gets into the computer. So yeah, no one looks like that in real life.

What does this have to do with you? Besides justifying a few more potato chips, knowing that celebrities don’t actually look that good means that you can look as good as a celebrity with just a few clicks of a mouse.

I’m talking photoshop yourself. There is nothing wrong with doing a little retouching here and there to the photos that are going on facebook. Especially now that you don’t have to have a degree in Adobe to know how to do the stuff either. There are so many apps and computer programs that will help you add a little thing here or there.

And as with all things, do in moderation. Don’t get so engrossed in it that you start googling plastic surgeons, or refuse to go out because you might blow the perfect image you’ve created online.

Simply give yourself a pretty touch here and there. Put your best face forward while still not taking yourself too seriously, that’s the ticket!
