While part of me is ready to say buh-bye to winter clothing, another part of me is going to miss the cozy nights at home.  There’s nothing like hurrying to get out of the cold after a long day then bundling up inside with some good soup…oh Lord I love it.

If there was a fireplace in my apartment, you can bet your best bonnet it would be going all the time.

Since there is not fire place, and winter is on it’s way out the door there is a little something that will definitely keep me cozy all year long-a wood wick candle!

Whoever thought of these things had the mother load of inspirations, because it’s about as much fun as you can have with a candle.  For those of you who aren’t familiar, it’s got a wooden wick instead of the other kind (hence the name) and it crackles as it burns giving you the feeling that a fire has been built without all the soot and mess.

I have two so I burn them together and get fireplace surround sound :)

Plus, let me not forget to mention they smell fantastic.  I once had one burning, blew it out and came back home with a friend who then remarked at how great my place smelled (thanks wood wick!)

It’s a little piece of winter I’ll definitely have with me all year.
