Because I love fall so much, I have to be aware of great moments and check them off in my head. Otherwise, I’ll be so sad when the seasons over.

I take mental notes to look back on and confirm that I properly enjoyed the season (it’s my own system and it works).

For example, on the way to this pumpkin patch, I soaked up listening to the radio about football while I gazed at the beautiful fall decorations on the houses we passed. Fall moment: check.

It’s all part of my bigger plan to decrease my phone time and more deeply focus on life time. Not the channel, the reality.

Let’s talk about this outfit…

These pants! Oh Em Gee I got them for $25 at the Holister jean sale and I’ve worn them almost all week. They are so very comfortable. Their jean sale is over, but they’ve got a new discount going on, thank goodness!

The jacket is from Gap in West Town Mall. Moto jackets are my chocolate.

The shirt I got at Target. I’ve got to say, sometimes Target hits it just right with the clothes and other times they miss the mark (ha! a little bulls-eye humor). This shirt, in my book, misses the mark.

It was on clearance for $6 something, but I had to order several sizes too big in order for it to be long enough. And while it’s now long enough it’s too “billowy”. So I’ll leave it for days off or deep layering (as in, so deep you can barely see it).

These shoes are Dr. Scholl’s #believeitornot and they are AWESOME *hand waving emoji. They are so comfortable and have just the right amount of heel with just the right amount of lowness so I don’t have to roll my jeans. Love. Them.

We had fun taking the boys to the pumpkin patch and I won’t say which two of us fell asleep in the stroller while we walked the corn maze. :)
