Time to Rearrange the Skeletons

This week is all about the one room (or set of doors) in our house that we probably spend the most time in, and derive the greatest amount of both frustration and satisfaction from: our closet. Now that fall has begun unpacking, preparation and organization in your closet will help ensure a fabulous You this season.

I’ve noticed that I tend to treat my closet a lot like a refrigerator. I stand. I stair. I close the door. I wait for the little gnomes to replace everything, and then I open the door again only to find nothing has changed.

It translates to a lot of standing and staring time. Because of this I walk into my closet expectantly, knowing exactly what I’m going to see and where I’m going to see it. One day, however, I thought, “what if I changed things around?”

And so I did.

I switched shirts and pants/ sweaters and sleeveless and got a whole new collaboration. Now when I walk into my closet I walk in excited because I’ve got new places to stand and stare! Really, it has made a huge difference in how I view my clothes, so you should try it too. In fact, schedule it every so often- it will keep your closet fresh!
