Can we all agree that Old Navy is killing it with the graphic tee’s lately?

I’ve seen no shortage of “Holy Chic” and “Lovely” on Instagram (unfortunately I didn’t grab the one with “Fabulous” down the middle right when I saw it – I went back to get it and they were gone *sad face).

This one I got before those other gems hit the shelves. It was on sale for $4.

I’m very picky with the wording of shirts. You are, after all, a walking billboard, so carefully choosing what you advertise is a wise thing to do. Which is why “fabulous” was going to make the cut – because, well, I am *wink.

But seriously, graphic tees are such a fun way to add diversity to your layers. Because it is like wearing a pattern. And this isn’t a animal print or stripe, so I’m doing good in my goal to buy outside that box! Yay me.

The cardigan I’m wearing is from Forever21 and cost $8. Total so far? $12. The chain necklace I also bought at Forever21 (a year or so ago), it was probably around, lets say $9. The shoes are from Target online – $11. So if you don’t count the jeans, this look only cost me around 32 bucks. Proving you can be Oo La La on a budget!

If you ever see cardigans on sale like that, stock up! They are such a great layering piece for fall!

This is going to be my next graphic tee purchase.

Fall Layering Options

I’ve been not-so-quietly squealing with joy all weekend at the thought of fall being right around the corner. I may or may not have sang and danced a little when I got my first glimpse of pumpkins outside the grocery store (which may or may not have incited “you’re crazy” comments from my husband).

I know it doesn’t at all feel like fall is anywhere near our part of the world, but the great news is that doesn’t mean we have to waist our money on new summer clothes we’ll only wear for a few more weeks. Nor does it mean we have to sweat it out by immediately sporting scarves and boots. There is a happy medium, and I talk all about it in yesterday’s segment from the morning show.

All of the clothes featured are from a great local boutique called Reap the Sew. They’ve got a great selection of trendy boho pieces that will work in your closet regardless of your style! I was super excited to pick up some great colorful accessories while dropping off the clothes from the show yesterday.

These earrings and necklace (along with the necklace I talk about buying in the clip) are going to add a great little dash of color to my constant barrage of black/white/gray. I’m especially excited to work that necklace with the orange accent into a game-day look!
