Making Lemonade Out of Chemistry

Chemistry is to me what small print is to bargain shoppers-a pain in the tail.

I’m sure there are certain aspects of it that can be loved (which is where the small print comparison ends), but for the most part math and science converging into one equals time I would rather spend plucking nose hairs.

I’m very glad the people over at LCN nail polish don’t feel the same way. Some genius over there loves chemistry, and put it to very good use.

Ever heard of magnetic nail polish?
No, this does not mean paper clips, pens and other various metallic things trailing your fingers all day. It actually means super cute designs that even the biggest manicure amateurs among us can pull off.

What you do, is you paint your nail with one of their eight metallic colors, and while it is still wet you take a magnet with either a striped or star pattern and hold it over your nail for 10 seconds. Doing so causes all the little metallic fibers to gather together forming the cutest, easiest nail design you’ve ever laid eyes on.
It’s adorable, and makes for the greatest conversation starter-ever (see my nails!!! –>)

It works out perfect for me, because 10 seconds is the exact length of my attention span when it comes to chemistry :)

It’s going to be a spiffy week!
