Daisey’s and lemon bars make me happy. Which is why I’m particularly loving my nails this week as they remind me of them both :)

In our current age of nail art (something we’ll all be laughing at in reminiscence when our daughters bring it back around in 20 years or so) it’s fun to get creative with your nail looks. It breaks up your colors and like layering does for your closet, it gives your nail polish collection new meaning.

All I have done here is layer white shatter nail polish over my yellow OPI “Need Sunglasses” on the tips. Giving me a funky french manicure!

Now I didn’t get a close up shot because after almost a week of wear I’ve discovered that it’s best to put a top coat over your design as the white shatter will wear off.

And next time I’m going to go down my nail a little further and play with a scattering of the shatter (as if it’s dripping down my nail) but for Easter I thought this was the perfect happy/lemony/daisy choice!
