For a long time I wondered what color eye shadow went best with my eyes. Then one day during a close examination of my peepers I saw that I’ve got all kinds of color going on in there, along with a whole lot of gold and yellows. After that I started playing with eye shadows that have a hint of gold and green to them and found that it was a perfect match.
If you are posing the same question about your own, here’s a color chart I found in Carmindy’s book (she’s definitely rocking the “one name only” thing like Cher).
Eye Color: Shadow Color:
Blue Chocolate Brown
Green Purples/Plums
Hazel Green
Brown Blue and Forest Greens
Basically you want to go opposite of your eye color so that the shadow will bring out your God-given hue.
