Don’t Underestimate Your Sneak-er-ness

Every season there’s a new list out about the “top five things every woman should have in her closet.”

And invariably somewhere on that list is a cute flat and/or a classic heel, but what is no where to be found are good tennis shoes.

Of course, we don’t think tennis shoes when it comes to our closet basics, but we should.

Don’t get me wrong, my relationship with my heels is going to be a long and healthy one, but it’s good to offer some support every once in a while.

Recently I took a trip down to a good running shoes store and had them look at my feet. Wild fun? No. Extremely helpful? Heck. Yes. The salesman had me walk and watched at what my feet tend to do and in turn recommended shoes that would help my disappearing arches. And you know what, the shoes he picked out were perfect!

I recommend you do the same. And if you don’t want to spend two arms and a leg for new shoes then tell them your budget going into it and they’ll work with you.

Your feet will thank you,
you will thank you,
and the people around the happier you will thank you.
