Sometimes a good reason to do your nails consistently is for looking down and getting that little “feel good” boost in the middle of the day no matter what you look like (or feel like).

That is the case with me today (not loving the hair, thankfully the nails are what’s always in site :)

Therefore, I believe this warrents a two color write up…

The color I’m actually wearing is “Pamplona Purple” which right now is probably my favorite non-dark-or-grey-colored nail polish. Every single time I wear it I think at least 10x a day “I really like this color” (it actually looks more purple on your nails then it does in this picture).

To me, it perfectly teeters the line between playful and professional.

This next color was actually last weeks nails, and it’s one I’ve resolved to wear more in the spring. Now that it’s “winter” (grr wish it felt like it!) I’m going with a lot of grays, but once spring actually comes I plan on punching up the color (we’ll see how this works, it’s a resolve I make every year…).

Never-the-less this is the perfect neutral to go with so many things (unless EVERYTHING is gray!)

Oh and the name is “French Quarter For Your Thoughts” it’s from the America line of OPI.

Remember if you keep your nails looking nice, you can always distract from anything on your body with backward jazz hands!! (that way they see your nails and not your palms :)
