-the number of bags you have packed after going through your closet.

One is for the clothes you’re going to give away.
And it couldn’t be an easier month to do so! There is a program going on in the month of February called Project Wear and Share.  All you have to do is take the clothes you don’t want and drop them off at a participating dry cleaners and they will clean the clothes for free then get them to people who are looking to clean themselves up in order to land a job.  What a worthy cause, yeah?

The second bag is for clothes you could possibly revisit, or can’t let go of just yet.  These pieces you’re going to put out of sight to see if they’ll stay out of mind.  If they do, go ahead and give them away at your next 6 month closet clean.  If they end up being missed, then rekindle love once lost and throw them back into rotation.

As far as the project goes, I can’t find the website where the other dry cleaners are listed, but I do know a few in the area that are participating, such as Prestige and Crown cleaners.  Both places have multiple locations so it shouldn’t be to hard to find a drop off place.
