Time to say goodbye to 2011.

This year we learned a lot in the beauty world.
We learned that in the 90’s when we thought everything would be metallic looking in 2011-it wasn’t too far-fetched. In the new millenium even our finger nails can be magnetized.

We learned that we have to unlearn every fashion rule we’ve ever learned-like mixing patterns, and pairing black with navy.

We learned that birds really come in handy. And someday (probably soon) we’ll look at pictures of ourselves and laugh at all the feathers sticking out of our heads.

It’s fun looking over the years trends and discoveries. Fashion is such a forward facing business that it’s so unheard of to look back, but you can really learn from your mistakes that way and make yourself more beautiful by doing so.

Even though we did make some wild advances in nail art this year, this simple pink was by far the most popular posting of the whole year with over 100 views…

Yes, we’re all tired of Lady GaBlah (and even the Kardashians are starting wear on me), this girl, however is a tried and true fashion icon that has already stood the test of time. And plenty of you thought so too…

Nothing like a little advice for the two things that do all your face framing, read here for a refresher. And ringing in as probably the most popular spiff post of all time, this little ditty got lots of attention-take a look back at your roots (literally).
