The Long and Shorts of It

One thing that will never go out of style in the fashion world, is dressing for your shape.

Translation: you’ll see a lot of posts on that subject here. But the more you read about it, the faster you’ll be able to shop for what will look good on you. So you’re welcome in advance.

What it boils down to every time is drawing the eye to a certain spot.

So let’s dive in.

Shorts! There are only three body types that require a certain style of short to be flattering: Pear-Shaped, Long Legs, and Plus-Size. So come back tomorrow and the next day if you are any of those three shapes.
If you are a pear-shaped, you want as little bulk as possible. Which means you don’t want bulky pockets, and you definitely don’t want pleats adding arrows to the areas you’d prefer not to highlight.

Opt for a leg-skimming, straight leg cut so that it lays without bulk. The Bermuda style that goes down to your knees is an ideal option because it streamlines your problem area and draws attention to the skinniest part of your leg.

The one’s on the right are from Target and are a great option, because they’re under $30!
