Some people know exactly what they want-
In a man.
In a purse.
In a shoe.
In a subway sandwich.

I get to be, or at least pretend to be, one of those people sometimes when I’m shopping.  When I do, it’s my absolute favorite kind of shopping because you know exactly what you’re looking for down to the detail of the neckline, you just have to find someone who’s selling your mental picture.

The only downside to this type of shopping is sometimes you have to settle.  And that’s the worst. It’s in those moments that I wish the goal I have of learning how to sow had already been achieved, but when it comes to purses and shoes I don’t have to wish no more.

Jeff Silverman.com is a website where you can go and literally create the picture you have in your head of the perfect heel or boot and they will ship it to you.  All you have to do is design it.

How cool is that? Of course the teensey weensey little catch is that it’s a little more then the heels you’d pay for at, say Ross (cough* around $150 or so *cough cough) BUT you get the satisfaction of replying to a compliment with, “Thanks! I designed these myself” How priceless is THAT!?

Don’t fret anymore over the lack of inventory when it comes to shoes and purses, go out and do something about-DYO!  Knowing what you want in a man or a subway sandwhich can wait, you’ve got new shoes to design!
