Goal: Better Body

Weight resolutions are happening (or being scoffed at) all over the place this week, but you’re not going to have a resolution you can have and achieve weight goals!

Even if your goal is to maintain your current weight, you’ve got to give yourself something to push towards.

Here are five ways to keep yours strong:
1. Carve out a time in your schedule for working out. After you do this-do not question it, rethink it or allow yourself to move it around.
2. Start counting calories. There are plenty of apps out there to help you and even if you fail by going over-this helps to maintain a mindset of being aware of what you’re eating.
3. Start small-you’ll hear this a lot this time of year but it’s so true. Doing small things (like taking the stairs, or walking to the car instead of being picked up) make a huge difference when done over time.
4. Give yourself one meal breaks. Once a week back off your regimen for a meal and eat freely. Having that freedom to look forward to helps throughout the week.
5. When you don’t want to work out or you want to eat something bad-remember the good feeling after doing good and the bad feeling after eating a whole lot of junk (which is a really really yuck feeling if you can’t recall ;)

And don’t give up! Every little bit helps and you can always start new goals.

Ps: Only weigh yourself at the same time once a week-not once a day.
