Get Your Incentive Off the Couch

There are many things about Summer to enjoy: the pool, watermelon, maxi dresses, time off…the heat-that goes on a separate list.

It goes on my list of things to hate whenever it’s time to work out.

Summer is a catch 22 when it comes to exercising. In one sense, you’re showing way more skin in public than usual so working out is a must, but in another sense the heat is so drows-inducing that the incentive to get up and move has already passed out on the couch.

The thing to remember when you’re caught between the horizontal position and moving vertically is that getting up and moving at all, regardless of the intensity, is the best way to go.

Don’t think about whether you “want” to or not, just do it. And if you’re really REALLY not feeling it, get your body to the gym and do the bare minimum. That will at least keep you in the routine and won’t set you too far back in your progress.

Because the more you push yourself the further your body will go the next work out, so don’t loose it in the gym and you’ll loose it on the scale!
