Fashion Week Finale

Everything I know about fashion shows I learned from Project Runway.

Thanks to the first ever Fashion Week in Knoxville, I got a chance to have a real live runway show under my silver belt.
The funny thing about this show was that it was held in the Harley Davidson store on Lovell Road. But it wasn’t mustaches and motorcycles that ruled the room, it was circular braids and some pretty amazing clothes.

Diana Warner was the first presenter and she showed up with a stage full of clothing that would live comfortably in my own closet.

I liked to see how she would bring out a group of models at a time with similar looks, the first one being the girl below in the sequent skirt and leather jacket…loved, LOVED that look.

Each group had cohesiveness (something I learned on PR) and each looked amazing. Scroll down for more photos…

Bellaza also showed, with several “OMG how did they do that!?” hair styles (see the picture with all the models on stage…)

Loved the colors on these, and the necklace on the girl in pink-genius! If there was one peice of jewelry I’d want to go home with it would be that necklace!

Sequent skirt again-wonder if Diana needs a best friend?

This long skirt/tank/necklace combo you can already bet will be on my body all the time this summer-I love the ease/cool factor of the look.

And the white outfit with the belt is so cute and so inspiring, I’m actually getting excited about warmer weather!

So thankful Knoxville is getting in the fashion game, after the awesome turn out I’m betting this is going to be a regular event!
