De-Stump-Ify Your Legs

There’s been a lot of dressing room talk on the spiff.com lately.
Hey! And here’s some more…

When looking for jeans the people over at Lucky magazine advise that you should take with you into the dressing room 4 pairs.

One size bigger than you would normally wear.
One size smaller than you would normally wear.
And two sizes in the size you currently wear.

The reasoning behind this is you never know if you could be getting a better fit in a different size than the one you are used to, so it’s good to broaden your scope and try other sizes on.

Now, for the two in your size-each jean has a unique fit about it, so if you take in two that are your size one might feel more comfortable than the other and it will also help ensure that you are, in fact, that size.

Another good thing to do is when you have set apart this magical day to find your magical pair of jeans, make sure you take the shoes you’ll be wearing with them the most that way you can see if they fall right where you need them to.

Your jeans should fall past your ankle so as not to make your legs look stubby, and should not drag on the ground so as to make your legs look stumpy (yeah, that’s right stub and stump). The ideal situation is that you grab the pair of shoes you’ll wear with them most and that way you’ll know where they fall when you put them on.  Standing on your tip-toes in the dressing room like I do doesn’t quite cut it.
