Never underestimate the power of a good bath.

One of my favorite things to read are the morning/nightly habits of powerful women (which makes me sound like a creepster). I love to know just what it is they do to balance it all and maintain their beauty.

Several times now, I’ve read that they soak in a bath on a regular basis (some every night).

My initial reaction to this? …Every night!? It seems like so much work!! How…?! Why….?!

Then I took a bath with great bath salts. And suddenly it all made sense.

I’ve added bath salts in the past. The kind that relatives give you at Christmas that come in a value pack with a scrub thing and body wash. The scent of which lasts for as long as vending machine bubble gum.

The bath salts I added the other night had a purpose. They help detox your body, help beautify your skin and reduce stress.

So let’s start with the scent…it lasted on me WELL INTO THE NEXT DAY. Boom. The bath itself was great and truly relaxing because I had something in there that was doing my body good. That made me feel good. And yow-zah was my skin soft afterwards!

The best thing about it? If you’ll add one of those sheet masks to your face while you’re in there and just soak listening to relaxing music – it’s like you’ve been to the spa. But you don’t have to find a babysitter, nor do you have to get undressed in a strange room or drive yourself home afterwards. AND (the best part) you don’t have to chunk down $70-$100 for the experience.

These bath salts are $20 for a bag. The bag will last you 2-3 baths. So that’s roughly seven to ten dollars a bath. Would you pay for a spa that offered a detoxing, beautifying and relaxing treatment for seven to ten dollars? To that I’d say… GET ME THERE NOW.

Here’s what I love most about it – it’s not just great while you’re in there soaking away in bless-ed silence, it’s even better afterwards. You feel simultaneously relaxed and reset. Like you can go to bed and wake up running a multi-million dollar company.

It truly is the perfect inexpensive spa escape.

So do your body mind and SOUL some good and pick up a pack. Use this link.

Note: All my opinions are my very own! I won’t write about anything unless I truly like it :)
