The best way to enjoy this season that sometimes seems to fly by, is by enjoying the little moments. Moments like this one…

The other night I turned on Dr. Seuss’, “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” and sat Jackson down to watch it. He was mesmerized. He stopped watching only long enough to say, “Bite”, reach his little hand out and take some popcorn. It is a memory I will treasure forever.

With all the gift guides and shopping we do for others (and sometimes ourselves *grimace face) it is easy to get stressed about what it is we’re going to get. I’ve chosen this Christmas to focus my thoughts on the fact that we are so blessed. And not in a #humblebrag kind of way. We, as a city, state, country – are blessed.

I am thankful for my relationships, but mainly my relationship with God. Because I know HE is more than enough than any present under the tree.

It’s hard not to sound cliche when typing this stuff out, but it’s crazy how we really can loose site of it.

I hope you’re able to enjoy moments with your loved ones this season, and realize that Christmas can come without packages, boxes or bags!

I appreciate you sharing moments with me while you read the blog. I’ll be back with a quick post before New Year’s and then I’ll jump back into it January 4th.

May your Christmas and holiday season be filled with peace love and joy!

(PS: Find this sweater and so many more great things at Gray Monroe – it’s a great small business! And thank you to Brittany of Southern Roots Photography for these awesome pictures!)
