Not as easy as three-hole-punch Jim, but close.
Costumes can be as much fun as they are a chore putting together. But this year I’m stepping back and choosing to not to let it stress me out and it turns out, I’m pretty excited about it. Jackson’s costume made the Trader Joe’s cashier laugh so I know I’ve picked a winner ;)
I’m a firm believer in using what you buy for more than one purpose (at least clothing wise, but I’ll also re-purpose leftovers from dinner. Maybe I need to change the name of this blog to “The Reheat” …obviously I don’t need to quit my day job). The same is true for costumes – get more use out of what you’ve bought!
In year’s past I’ve gone through West Town Mall and pulled together costume looks that could be reused in your every day life.
Here are some looks found from around the mall back in 2014. The funny thing is they’re all still culturally relevant. Maybe just add a few more kids to Kate Middleton’s hip and don’t try to find anything at The Limited because it’s closed *sad face.
The next time I did this segment, I had my own little boy prop!
Here are some great looks from West Town Mall 2015! I would love to recreate this Jersey Shore look with Jackson now that he can walk around ;)
I’ll be sharing more ideas as the week goes on, so stay tuned!
