Talk about a soft surrounding. *Bu Dum Chhh This product was gifted to me, but all opinions are my own.

This time of year beauty sleep couldn’t be more precious.

With a swelling to-do list and more parties than you can shake a peppermint stick at, we can use all the help we can get.

That’s why I love a good silk pillowcase for keeping my skin and my hair so pretty while sugar plum fairies dance in my head.

If you’re twitching your lips right now, doubting that a pillow case has anything to do with how you look, let me save you a google…

First, silk is hypoallergenic, so it’s not going to pull in dust or anything yucky stuff flying around in the air. You know what else it’s not going to pull in? Moisture from your face like a cotton pillowcase does.

Which means your precious moisture (precious especially when it’s cold and dry outside) AND all of those expensive products you put on your face before going to bed – they’re going to stay in your skin. And you wake up – sleep-crease free!

Not to mention, over time you’ll have fewer wrinkles than if you didn’t sleep with this pillowcase #justsaying.

Have you seen my son’s cheeks? One of those big cheeks came from me and since I sleep on my side, that side that I’m mashing my cheek on usually leaves marks – “but not when I’ve got my silk pillowcase around!!” She said in a sing-song voice.

And I’m not even done with the benefits…let’s talk about your hair.

A silk pillowcase doesn’t cause as much friction with your hair as a cotton one would. Translation: you don’t wake up with frizzy bed head or get split ends quicker. For the most part, you wake up with the same hair you went to bed with. Spray that head of yours down with hairspray the night before, then rest that noggin on a silky pillow and wake up ready to do your own hair commercial.

I’ve been using a knock off version for a while with okay results – UM but once I started using this silk one, I’ve seen great improvement in my face in the mornings. I’m certainly sold. These silky things run for less than $50 so they make the perfect gift for all your friends and family this Christmas!
